Managing Partner at The Wealth Company

Running Markets Strategy and other related projects at The Wealth Company.

In my last assignment at Axis Securities, I led Research, Content & Corp Comm. Along with a team of like-minded people, we helped create solutions that elevated customer experience.

Before Axis, I served as Bloomberg’s APAC Equity Derivatives Strategist where my work centred around expanding our global derivatives coverage with round-the-clock support from various teams spread across the world. Before assuming this responsibility, I was an Asia Cross Asset Editor where I covered all beats that included traditional financial markets and newer themes like cryptocurrency.

My professional career spans over 18 years of experience in derivatives trading and technical/quantitative research, with roles spanning sell-side firms and 15 years at Bloomberg. I started my career in 2004 as a commodity futures trader and graduated to trading equity derivatives on a proprietary desk before heading derivatives research at one of the largest domestic sell-side firms.

My Bloomberg career began in 2009 as a Sales Specialist where I was responsible for managing large sell-side accounts and doubling up as a data visualization/technical research specialist. A year later, I became the Market Specialist for Technical Research, with coverage spanning the largest institutions and central banks spread over South Asia, the Middle East and parts of South East Asia.

After spending eight years as a Market Specialist, I joined the Workflow Specialists team in 2017 where I was responsible for corporate workflows with a specific focus on treasury operations. In this role, I assumed responsibility for assisting small, mid-size and large corporations in South Asia to enhance their existing playbooks using Bloomberg’s Core terminal and non-terminal, ancillary suite of solutions.

With FX execution becoming a core strategy for Bloomberg in 2020, I moved over to the FX Electronic Trading group, to demonstrate to both liquidity takers and makers that execution efficiencies can be achieved via Bloomberg’s suite of FX execution solutions.

Am an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a CMT Charterholder, a Co-Chair of the Mumbai CMT Chapter and a former Global Board Member of the CMT Association as also an EPAT alum from Quantinsti.

My core areas of expertise include Technical and Statistical Analysis, Quantitative Research, Data Visualization and Strategy Backtesting. My newfound interests include Python and Algorithmic Trading.
